The Erato Boat and Owners

The Jeaneau 409 is a performance cruising boat with angular styling and lauded performance. Designed by the legendary Philippe Briand. She is the latest model in the celebrated line of boats from the French manufacturer Jeaneau. This boat was made for cruising and has an abundance of room on the bow and stern, as well as down below. The owners Stan and Amy Radev sailed back Erato from the British Virgin Islands in 2017 for their family and yours to enjoy. We hope you love Erato as much as we do.

The Captain

Stan Radev, a native of Bulgaria, was destined to spend time on the water. His father built a sailboat using a photograph from “Yachting” magazine. He imparted his love for sailing to his son and, together, they spent hours sailing the Black Sea. After becoming a world class kite boarder and instructor, Stan returned to his first love and received his captain’s license in 2012 to pursue deep water sailing and racing. He bought a 40’ Jenneau (“Erato”) last year in the BVI and keeps her moored at Patriot’s Point Marina. Stan owns FORCE Kite and Wake in Mt. Pleasant, SC and lives with his wife, Amy, and twin boys in James Island. The Radev Family loves spending time together on weekend sailing expeditions in Charleston Harbor.
